Vocab #4

Intermittent- occurring at irregular intervals; not continuous or steady
Ebb- the movement of the tide out to sea
Regress- return to a former or less developed state
Tendency- an inclination toward a particular characteristic or type of behavior
Antiseptic- of, relating to, or denoting substances that prevent the growth of disease-causing microorganisms

The treadmill will go fast and slow intermittently.
The ebb at the beach was going fast.
Organisms at the begginning of time did the opposite of regress.
Ex-convicts usually have a tendency of going back to there old ways
The nurse put antiseptic on his cut.
